PRODUCT

Less guessing.
A clearer digital day.

SELFLEX does not tell you to spend less time online. It gives you reliable information so you can make that decision for yourself.

01

Time by site

See which websites take the largest share of your day.

02

Hourly rhythm

Understand when your activity rises and when focus drifts.

03

Custom categories

Organize websites around your own work and life.

04

Detailed search

Filter local history by site, date, category, and duration.

06

Local backup

Export and restore your data as a local JSON file.

WHY SELFLEX?

Because estimated time
is rarely actual time.

A few visits that felt brief can quietly add up to hours. SELFLEX makes those invisible patterns measurable without judging them.

Phones have Screen Time. SELFLEX brings the same awareness to desktop browsing—without sending your history to the cloud.

COMPARISON

Seeing history is one thing.
Understanding your rhythm is another.

PRIVACY ARCHITECTURE

No middleman.
No cloud by default.

Your browsing records are processed inside the browser and stored in extension-local storage. They leave the device only if you turn on SELFLEX Sync, and then only into your own iCloud account.

BROWSER SCREEN-TIME GUIDE

Measure website time accurately in Safari and Chrome.

Browser history shows which pages you opened, not how long they were actually visible. Learn how active-tab sessions, hourly patterns, categories, and local processing create a more useful picture.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions.

How SELFLEX measures time, where your data lives, and which devices it runs on.

What is SELFLEX and what does it do?

SELFLEX is a website time tracker for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. It shows how long you spend on each site, which hours of the day are busiest, and your weekly rhythm. All measurement and analysis happen on your device.

How can I see how much time I spend on each website?

After adding SELFLEX to your browser, the new-tab dashboard starts collecting per-site durations, an hourly intensity chart, and your weekly rhythm automatically. There is no separate setup or sign-up step.

Is browser history the same as screen time?

No. Browser history only lists the addresses you opened. Screen-time analysis measures how long a tab was actually active and visible, so leaving a tab open in the background does not count as time in SELFLEX.

Is my browsing data sent to the cloud?

No. SELFLEX has no remote user database, advertising network, or analytics server. Records stay in the browser's extension-only local storage. The full list of requested permissions and their purpose is documented in the Transparency Center. The one exception is SELFLEX Sync, which you turn on yourself: the data groups you select are then written end-to-end encrypted into your own iCloud account, never to a SELFLEX server.

Is SELFLEX free, and do I need an account?

SELFLEX is free and never asks for a SELFLEX account. Installing the extension is all you need to do.

Which browsers and devices are supported?

Safari on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS through the App Store, plus Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox through their own stores. macOS and iPadOS also include home-screen widgets that show your daily time.

Can I delete or back up my data?

Yes. You can erase a single domain's data in one action and export all your records to a local JSON file. You can also exclude specific sites up front and enable privacy and censor modes.
